Question: (Last edited: Thursday, 8 November 2018, 2:42 PM)Account Format: What is my new username ? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Answer: School Accounts The username convention for schools is a shortened version of the school email address. firstname.lastname@schoolname (no need for 'stockport.sch.uk') For schools with non-standard email formats: The last part of the email address is omitted: For example: joanne.bloggs@gatleyprimary or j.bloggs@kingsway Childminders and registered EY settings If you work in a registered early years setting your username format will be ey.firstname.lastname For example ey.joanne.bloggs. NOTE: If you work in a maintained nursery your username will be similar to schools : firstname.lastname@nurseryname > > for example joanne.bloggs@hollywoodpark Your manager/headteacher will be given the default password. If the manager does not know the password please email support@learningleads.org.uk | |||
Question: (Last edited: Thursday, 8 November 2018, 3:05 PM)Accounts: Can I use the online account request form? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Answer: Staff can request an account using this form as long as they use an official email address to do so. For example, requests from your school email addresses will be accepted. We cannot accept account requests from unofficial email addresses as we need to verify any requests. For EY settings and childminders, if you do not have an official email address linked to your setting, we are only able to create accounts from lists supplied by managers (sent from an official email address) or via the childminding team. Managers can contact support@learningleads.org.uk to obtain a proforma. There is no way round this as it is extremely important that we verify account details before creating accounts. | |||
Question: (Last edited: Thursday, 8 November 2018, 2:19 PM)Accounts: I am a childminder in Stockport, how do I get an account for Learning Leads? | |||

Question: (Last edited: Thursday, 8 November 2018, 2:26 PM)Accounts: I work in a registered EY Setting in Stockport, how do I get an account? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Answer: Under new GDPR guidelines we are responsible for the quality of the data we hold. The account details held on the old system for staff in registered settings was becoming out of date and an increasing number of emails sent were bouncing. Therefore, we started from scratch with NEW accounts in the new system. We created accounts for managers in Early Years' settings only.We recognise that the manager details may not be up to date and we will monitor access to identify any manager account details that may need updating. With regard to staff accounts, proformas are available for managers to complete with up to date details for staff requiring access. Please email support@learningleads.org.uk to obtain a pro-forma , complete and return. In order to verify accounts we are only able to accept proformas sent using official email addresses. | |||
Question: (Last edited: Thursday, 8 November 2018, 2:31 PM)Accounts: What is an active account? | |||

Question: (Last edited: Thursday, 8 November 2018, 3:25 PM)VIEW: Why can't I find what I am looking for when I have been told it is on Learning Leads? | ||
---|---|---|
Answer: This may be for a number of reasons. 1.The resource or opportunity may not have been made available yet - sometimes consultants and advisers alert you to upcoming resources/events before making them available. If this happens, please check with the person who directed you to Learning Leads in the first instance. 2. The event/opportunity is available elsewhere - for example face to face Safeguarding courses are managed on a different system and are not bookable via Learning Leads.Someone may have signposted you to Learning Leads in error. 3. You may not have appropriate rights - most of our learning networks and opportunities are open to everyone. However, there are some, such as the SIMs online network, that do not allow self-enrolment. If you require access, please contact support@learningleads.org.uk or the SIMs team. If you cannot find something on the site, please email support@learningleads.org.uk and we will look into it for you. Please ensure you supply as much detail as possible, if possible please include details or the person who directed you to Learning Leads to find the resource/event. | ||
Question: (Last edited: Thursday, 8 November 2018, 3:14 PM)View: Why can’t I see all my Early Years learning networks and opportunities? | |||

However, you will need to join other networks - for help with this watch the video here. If you cannot see the Early Years Homepage on the top menubar (next to the home icon) - contact support@learningleads.org.uk. | |||
