A NEW Learning Leads system went live on 1 September 2018. The following Frequently asked questions  have been provided to support users across the borough.

Question:

Booking events: Can I apply to attend events using Learning Leads?

Answer:

Yes you can. 

Search for bookable courses, events, etc, using the ‘Learning Opportunities’ search box on the front page of Learning Leads or go via the Learning Opportunities menu bar. Apply and you will receive an email as soon as your place has been confirmed.

Question:

Booking Events: Can I book a place for another person ?

Answer:

This function is not available yet. All users must log in and sign up to the T&Cs to activate their accounts, currently bookings must be made personally. We intend to make this option available in the next phase.

Question:

Booking Events: Can I see a calendar view?

Answer:

Yes.  You may select the 'Search Calendar' option under the Learning Opportunities tab and browse the calendar of events.

Question:

Bookings: How do I cancel my application?

Answer:

To cancel your application. Log on > Learning opportunities > Manage My CPD.

Select the opportunity and go to 'cancel booking'.

Details are shown in this short video. (cancellation is at 3:00 into the video)

There is a cut off date for cancellation for some events. If the cut off date has passed you will no longer see this option.

Question:

Bookings: Where can I see the status of my applications?

Answer:

You can see all applications made using this NEW system by clicking on Learning Opportunities > Manage My CPD

You may also cancel any bookings here.
